I'm a full-time artist located in Waterloo, IA, love to bake, have a wonderful husband who loves that I love to bake, a cute dog (Lola) who is the most gentle giant there is, and there are like a lot of plants here.

I've been a professional photographer since 2013 after graduating from art school. I've always wanted to be an artist. Until recently, I didn't believe that I was good enough. TikTok has taught me that's the dirty work of imposter syndrome. Maybe it's from the global pandemic, going to therapy, or becoming a certain age that's made me realize I can't be anything but me. As an artist I've heard a lot of "who would buy that" or "why".

 

It occurred to me recently that those questions are actually rhetorical. ​Sure, I hope everyone wants to buy it, but that's not a realistic goal. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me. The shop is a newer endeavor. I'm excited to watch it grow!
