I'm an artist and baker located in Dakota City, IA, love to bake, have a wonderful husband who loves that I love to bake, a cute dog (Lola) who is the most gentle giant there is, and there are like a lot of plants here.

I've been a professional photographer since 2013 after graduating from art school. I've always wanted to be an artist. As an artist I've heard a lot of "who would buy that" or "why".

 

It occurred to me recently that those questions are actually rhetorical. ​Sure, I hope everyone wants to buy it, but that's not a realistic goal. If my work speaks to you enough to hire me or buy anything I create I am deeply grateful.

Lately, I've been focusing a lot of my efforts towards the home bakery, Three Rivers Kringla, that I co-own with Sammi, the best business partner and friend I could ask for.

At my core I will always be an artist and am excited to photograph familiar and new faces!
